Explore the Hamline-Midway neighborhood's vast edible landscape with Tim Clemens, founder of Ironwood Foraging Co and president of the Minnesota Mycological Society, for a hands-on learning experience identifying wild, edible plants and mushrooms in the urban green spaces of Hamline-Midway. This is a free walking tour and registration is required (limited to 12 people.)
Date: Friday, September 18th
Time: 5-7 pm
We will meet at Newell Park. Masks will be required and safe social distancing will be practiced. Portions of this tour will be shared online for those unable to attend in person. This event is made possible by a generous grant from The Trust for Public Land's 10-Minute-Walk campaign. 10 Minute Walk works with local leaders across the U.S. to raise awareness around the importance of parks and green spaces, and to make parks top of mind with the people who are planning the future of cities.
