The mission of the Hamline Midway History Corps is to collect and share neighborhood history and advocate for local architectural preservation and restoration. Past HMHC events include monthly meetings, speakers, annual Neighborhood History Day, and the Hamline Village Neighborhood archaeology project (in partnership with Hamline University).
HMHC is always interested in talking with neighbors who have stories, memories, photos, or artifacts to share that help us learn about the history of the Hamline Midway neighborhood. If you are interested in being involved, please contact us - this group is dependent on volunteer energy.
Hamline Midway Neighbors for Peace
The Hamline Midway Neighbors for Peace is a cooperative group of individuals, partners, and families dedicated to building peace, hope and community in the Hamline Midway neighborhood. We celebrate our diversity, share our talents, and nurture our potentials as we strive for a peaceful, healthy environement, and the rights for all. HM Neighbors for Peace are a member of the Minnesota Neighbors for Peace (MNFP) organization, and though the affiliate and support the international focus of MNFP, their focus is more local. HM Neighbors for Peace are committed to creating a peaceful community in our own neighborhood, to honoring all our neighbors, and to raising the next generation of peacemakers.
HM Neighbors for Peace meet the third Sunday of every month, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm for a potluck dinner. Activities include monthly email newsletters, and other various activities around the Hamline Midway neighborhood and Saint Paul. All activities emphasize making our neighborhood a safer place to live, in all senses of the term, and to do so for all our neighbors.
For more information, or to get on the newsletter list, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 651-646-4899.

Join us from 10:00-11:00am on the first Tuesday of every month (with exceptions; see the calendar). Meetings are held at the Hamline Park Building, 1564 Lafond Avenue, southeast corner of Snelling and Lafond.
